Developing Evelina project update

Following on from a very successful four weeks of feedback from patients, staff and visitors, we are now closing the questionnaires for the Developing Evelina project.
Your feedback will now be analysed and interpreted, with the results being fed directly into our final report, due to be submitted in August. A summary of the report will be published on the Developing Evelina website.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those of you who have given such valuable feedback in questionnaires, text messages and in person, and we very much look forward to publishing the results of this in due course.
We will keep the site updated with developments as they happen.
Four weeks on...
1st July 2010
The Developing Evelina project has been running for four weeks now, and we are approaching the final stages of our investigative work. Hundreds of questionnaires have been completed, but there is still time for more!

will be live until 2nd July, so please fill one in before then if you haven’t already.
We will continue to update the site with progress from the next stages of this project.
Observation, shadowing and focus groups
23rd June 2010
Over the coming weeks the project team will be carrying out observation sessions and shadowing certain members of staff, patients and families on their journeys around the hospital. These sessions will be completely unobtrusive but will be very informative for the Developing Evelina team. If you do see any members of the project team on these sessions, please feel free to approach them and they’ll be only too happy to discuss any ideas or concerns you may have.
Focus group meetings with Evelina users and staff are also taking place this week. A staff representative from each of the hospital departments has been invited to the focus groups. These sessions will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss aspects of the building in greater detail, which will be vital in shaping our vision for the future.

Project update

Since last week’s launch we have had an excellent response to the Developing Evelina project. In just a few days we received well over a hundred responses to the questionnaire. The results are all being collected and will be analysed at the end of the project to inform our vision for the future.

section of this site and select the appropriate survey for you. It should take just a few minutes to complete, and every question you answer is providing us with valuable feedback on how to improve the Evelina hospital.

The Developing Evelina project and website has now been launched! We very much hope that you will find the tools on this website useful for telling us your thoughts on Evelina. We will regularly update this page with the progress of the project, so you can keep fully up-to-date with what’s happening.
