Governor, Museum of London and Chief Executive, Stanhope

David co-founded Stanhope Plc in 1995 and was appointed chief executive in 2002. Stanhope are developers with 30 years’ experience and more than £20 billion of completed projects. These include landmark projects such as Paternoster Square, Chiswick Park and Central St Giles. Current projects include Television Centre and White City Place totalling 5 million square feet.  David’s main focus is in relation to the identification, acquisition and funding of new projects, and in leading the strategy of the company.

David has built a focused team of development entrepreneurs from professional property and construction backgrounds, the majority of whom have worked together for over 15 years.  David’s 30-year career at Stanhope working in partnership on major developments in London and working closely with international investors and the public sector has allowed him to participate in the growth and renewal of London and David is passionate about delivering quality London neighbourhoods.

David is also a Governor of the Museum of London chairing their New Museum Board.
